Unlike monolithic brick and mortar operations, Hooker Wines are the product of a virtual winery that produces vintage blends from the finest California appellations available on the market today.

Hooker Wines' 106 acre estate is nestled in its own private valley, located about five miles northwest of Calistoga in Napa Valley. The 20 acre vineyard is currently producing ultra premium Syrah, and next year's harvest will also include Viognier and Cabernet Franc. Several acres of Zinfandel are also planned for premium vineyard designate Zinfandels.

But our vineyard is just a small part of the Hooker Winery. The operation itself is actually a virtual winery located on the open market wherever California's finest appellations are available. With the exception of Hooker's Home Pitch Syrah, the various wines blended for the Hooker brand are personally reviewed for superior quality and painstakingly selected for balance and synergy.

In short, the Hooker Winery invests time, energy and expertise in cultivating relationships and harvesting the best available wines to ensure consistent quality and exceptional value. The goal is to find right varietals from the finest appellations to create the perfect blends for Loose Ruck Red, Blind Side Zin, Tight Head White and Home Pitch Syrah.
